Bass Habit SPL Play SP25A is a stylish and well performing 1" horn tweeter with a price tag that surprises - especially considering how well the tweeter performs! Sensitivity is an insanely high 100 dB and will be a joy to have in the SPL build. The SP25A is built to match the SP midbass, but of course works very well with other midbass on the market as well.

Balancing performance and price is an art that Bass Habit has proven to be incredibly skilled at! The SP25A is further proof that they've mastered the art of keeping the price down - but still creating sounds that play incredibly well. The horn tweeter's job is to spread the sound wide, long and loud.
One of the great advantages of the horn is that you also have very high efficiency. The sensitivity is simply higher than many other tweeters in its price range. This means, in short, that you more easily get more sound out in the end! This is an appreciated detail of the SP25A and therefore makes it great for a jaunty SPL build or in a raggedy plank.
BRL recommends!
A tweeter needs proper splitting to avoid damage. You can do this with a splitting filter, for example. In this case we recommend the GAS PSXO24. It can also be an active splitting filter in a car stereo or splitting via output stage. This is to prevent the tweeters from playing lower frequencies than they are intended for. The supplied 3.3uF capacitor should be connected between the plus speaker cable and the plus pole of the tweeter.
