The Marantz 2016 AVR remote control application for iOS and Android devices provides full control of the receiver with a smart device.  

AV8805 with 24-bit/192-kHz resolution DAC will give you the opportunity to discover the quality of high-resolution music recordings. You can listen to such recordings through the USB connection on the front or from devices on the network. The receiver supports formats such as ALAC, FLAC and WAV. Also DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz files.

For optimal sound resolution and minimum distortion, the AV8805 is equipped with eight reference class AK4490 32-bit digital/analog converters. The amplifier is equipped with 15.2 balanced XLR inputs and outputs.

The AV8805 is equipped with the latest Marantz HDAM modules, which are built from individual, carefully selected and matched components. This provides an extremely wide frequency band (up to 100kHz, -3dB) and an open and detailed sound stage.

The AV8805 supports the new MultEQ Editor application. Go "under the hood" and adjust the settings down to the smallest detail, thus adapting the sound to your preferences and the acoustic problems of the room.

AV8805 has a wide range of external devices connection options. These are remote control input and output, flasher input and 12V trigger output. You can also directly connect the amplifier to home automation systems via the RS-232C connection. The SR8012 can also be connected via the network using IP and has an integrated Crestron Connected system for quick and easy connection to the home automation system.

With HDMI CEC functionality, which is present in modern TVs, you will be able to control the receiver with the TV remote control
