To celebrate its 60th birthday, Elipson pays tribute to historical landmarks. The first speaker to gain fame was the famous BS 50. whose name was "Staff Ball", 50 cm in diameter. In itself, the BS 50 embodies the story of Elipson.

  • Bassreflex with internal resistor.
  • Power: 100W (at peak).
  • Sensitivity: 90 dB/1W/1m
  • Frequency band: 40 Hz - 20 KHz.

A true tribute to the craftsmanship and history of Elipson, the BS50 Tribute speaker breathes new life into the model that earned the brand its reputation in the 50s, the BS50, which stands for "50 cm diameter ball staff." On its own, it embodies Elipson's entire history. Designed in 1953, the BS50 was created for the first "sound and light" shows at the Château de Chambord. Thanks to its "ear," it offered accurate sound restitution. Elipson reissued this legendary model and extraordinary object using modern materials while preserving its special acoustic qualities. The coaxial driver at the top of the sphere provides a realistic reproduction of each instrument and ensures harmony between the different registers. The shell-shaped acoustic reflector perched on top of the speaker directs sound towards the listener. The BS50 is a perfect illustration of the brand's passion for sound and design.
