3-WAY SURROUND LOUDSPEAKER
Sopra Center allows you to extend the Sopra experience to yours Home Cinema . Sopra Center uses all the design aspects of Sopra loudspeakers in order to optimize integration into your home. The center loudspeaker is an essential component of home cinema systems because its role goes beyond reproducing just the dialogue. The mid-range must provide precision and coherence between the visuals and the soundstage. If the center loudspeaker reproduces the majority of voices in the center of the image, its spectrum is much broader and also includes music, sound effects and other sounds.
The Sopra Center loudspeaker is the ideal complement for the other loudspeakers in the Sopra line: Soprano N°1 bookshelf loudspeakers and Soprano N°2 weather Soprano N°3 floorstanding loudspeakers. Each model in the line offers high performance and consistency in terms of output, rendering and scale. Each speaker driver benefits from the same technologies: 'W' cones and pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeters. The soundstage is therefore perfectly dispersed: the sound emanating from either side of the image is reproduced without variation of the timbre.
Like all products in the Sopra line, Sopra Center is available in the Black Lacquer finish.
The center loudspeaker is composed of:
- 3" (8cm) 'W' cone midrange
- 2 x 6 1/2 " (16.5cm) 'W' cone woofers
- 1 1/16 " (27mm) pure Beryllium IAL tweeter.

After two years of research and development, Focal produced a world first: a pure Beryllium inverted dome, able to cover more than five octaves. You will improve the perception of transients and other micro details.
The pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter offers a perfectly linear frequency response and extremely precise and detailed treble.
Also, the linearity of the speaker's response curve is mainly a function of three opposite parameters: lightness, rigidity and damping.

'W' CONE
The 'W' composite sandwich cone allows total optimization of the frequency response curve, thanks to the total control of three key parameters: lightness, rigidity and damping. These unique characteristics of lightness and rigidity provide control of the signal transmission speed inside the material.
