INDIANA LINE TESI 5
The Tesi series, including the Tesi 5 model, stands out for its excellent balance between quality and price. It uses many of the proven components known from models like Indiana Line's Diva 3 and Diva 5. It features a simple yet versatile design. The new Tesi series speakers offer an attractive, modern balanced, clean and dynamic sound. The speakers are available in three colors: black oak, white and mocha, to meet a variety of consumer preferences and allow the speakers to complement the room's decor.
STYLISH AND STURDY BODY
The Tesi 5 model has an MDF body, internally reinforced with strong braces, matching all Indiana Line floor constructions. Compared to the predecessor Tesi 561 model, the body dimensions have changed slightly - the new Tesi 5 column is 1 cm higher. The front-facing bass reflex port allows the speaker to be placed close to a wall without worrying about over-emphasis on low tones. The speaker baskets have trim rings that hide their baskets for an aesthetic look. The magnetic grille and slightly rounded upper edges of the housing are also noteworthy, emphasizing the universal character of the Tesi 5 loudspeaker.
NEW TREBLE SPEAKER BOARD IN FRONT
The Indiana Line Tesi 5 has a 26 millimeter tweeter with a special Indiana Line feature: a radial ventilation chamber. The tweeter's magnetic system features a powerful neodymium magnet, and the front of the tweeter has been redesigned compared to previous models in the Tesi series. It now has a rectangular shape inspired by the latest Diva series speakers, although it is implemented using a simpler mounting technique. This new design improves aesthetic integration with other electro-acoustic transducers and significantly improves the speaker's overall appearance.
NEW ELECTROACOUSTIC CONVERTERS
In addition to the tweeter, the Tesi 5 model uses two other transducers, a medium woofer and a low frequency driver with a large linear displacement. Both have a diameter of 16 cm, the same as the older generation Tesi series counterparts. What has changed is that both transducers use unique, smooth membranes made of polypropylene with a touch of mica. This ensures the necessary rigidity to reproduce even the smallest details of the sounds played with exceptional accuracy. In addition, the phase corrector used in the Tesi 561 has been replaced with a dust cover in the Tesi 5 speaker. All of these improvements result in a clean yet open midrange sound with deep and crisp bass.
OPTIMIZED COMPONENTS
The Indiana Line Tesi 5 loudspeaker features a total of three well-designed electro-acoustic transducers. Those responsible for low and mid-range tones have been optimized using modern design techniques, including special rings for linear impedance. The introduction of larger magnets significantly reduced distortion, improved linearity and improved bass reproduction. These solutions ensure transparent, clear sound even when played at high volumes.
INNOVATIVE DUAL WAVE SUSPENSION
The Tesi 5 features an innovative mid-woofer suspension system known as Dual-Wave. This solution was first introduced in the new models of the Diva series. Visually, the Dual-Wave takes inspiration from stage speakers with accordion-like springs. The Indiana Line speaker suspension has been precisely engineered to extend the linear operating range and minimize intermodulation distortion, especially at low frequencies. This in turn contributes to better clarity in the midrange. The positive effect of this decision is especially noticeable when playing percussion, acoustic and stringed instruments.
IMPROVED CROSSOVER DESIGN
The new, highly optimized floor-standing Indiana Line Tesi 5 crossover was created using the latest design methods and specialized measurement systems. It supports the corresponding topology and component quality as implemented in the new models of the Diva series (Diva 3 and Diva 5). Thanks to the crossover, which ensures a smooth impedance characteristic, high efficiency, low distortion and proper sound distribution, the Tesi 5 loudspeaker is compatible with any amplifier.
