The Tesi 6 floorstanding speaker has a bass reflex tunnel construction that allows for dynamic sound reproduction. The inside of the case hides strong reinforcements, and the components used help to reduce the influence of unwanted resonance on the sound. This model of the 3-way Tesi series, inspired by the Tesi 661 speaker column, is primarily intended for larger rooms.

  • Recommended amplifier power: 30-160 W
  • Frequency range: 35 - 22000 Hz
  • Sensitivity (2.8 V/1 m): 92 dB
  • Amplifier load resistance: 4-8 ohms
  • 3-lane

The price is for a pair of speakers.

INDIANA LINE TESI 6

The new version of the Indiana Line Tesi series, represented by the floor-standing Tesi 6 model, has an exceptionally attractive quality-price ratio. Its distinguishing features are the rational use of selected, already proven components of the Diva line and a simple but universal form. The new models of the Tesi series are primarily intended for users who want to achieve an attractive, modern sound in their audio system - balanced, yet clean and dynamic. They are available in three color options: black oak, white and mocha.

STYLISH AND STURDY BODY

The Tesi 6 speaker cabinet is made of MDF with dense bracing to match Indiana Line's top floor design. The bass reflex port on the base reduces the audibility of resonances coming from it, which at the same time allows the speaker to be placed closer to the wall without worrying about excessive bass amplification. Aesthetic rings masking the speaker basket holders give the case an elegant look. In addition, the speaker also has a magnetic grill. The slightly rounded upper edges of the case emphasize the universal character of the Tesi 6 model. Compared to the predecessor Tesi 661 model, the dimensions of the case have changed slightly - the newer design is about 1 cm taller.

TREBLE CONVERTER IN NEW FRONT PLATE

The Tesi 6 model has a 26 mm high-frequency dome with Indiana Line's special feature: the radial ventilation chamber. The magnetic system of the tweeter uses a powerful neodymium magnet. However, the front of the tweeter has been modified compared to the previous models in the Tesi series. Its rectangular shape is inspired by the latest Diva series speakers, although it is made using a simpler mounting technique. This new design allows the tweeter to better blend in with the appearance of other electroacoustic transducer rings, and all speaker screws are hidden from view, greatly improving the speaker's appearance.

NEW ELECTROACOUSTIC CONVERTERS

In addition to the tweeter, the Tesi 6 uses three other drivers, a 160mm midrange and a pair of 160mm woofers with high linear displacement. They feature membranes made of polypropylene with a mixture of mica, which gives them the necessary rigidity to reproduce even the smallest details of sound with exceptional accuracy. The phase plug used in the mid-range converter of the Tesi 661 is replaced by a dust cover in the new Tesi 6, and the converter itself operates in a compact sealed housing, completely separated from the resonant cavity of the bass reflex system. a pair of subwoofers running below. All this results in an exceptional sound, among other things, an open and clear midrange sound and a deep, unrestrained bass, as it comes from a noble three-way system.

OPTIMIZATION OF USED COMPONENTS

The Indiana Line Tesi 6 has four perfectly designed electro-acoustic transducers. The low and medium frequency converters feature magnetic circuits optimized using modern design techniques and all include inductance alignment rings. The significantly increased amount of magnets has reduced distortion, improved linearity and low frequency reproduction. The diameter of the low-frequency and mid-frequency transducers, like the older generation Tesi series, is 16 cm, thus larger than the new models of the Diva series (Diva 3 and Diva 5). The solutions used in them ensure clear and accurate sound even at high volume levels, regardless of the genre of music being played.

UPPER SUSPENSION

The Tesi 6 uses a new Dual-Wave suspension for low-mid range speakers. This solution looks like professional, stage speakers with so-called accordion springs. For the first time, Dual-Wave technology was implemented in the new models of the Indiana Line Diva series. In practice, we have a precisely designed upper suspension that effectively extends the speaker's linear operating range and reduces intermodulation distortion (especially in the low-bass range), which in turn improves mid-frequency articulation. The positive effect of this solution is especially noticeable in the sound of percussion, string and acoustic instruments.

OPTIMIZED CROSSOVER

The Indiana Line Tesi 6 floorstanding speaker features a new, highly optimized speaker crossover. It has been developed using the latest design techniques and specialized measurement systems. The topology and component quality of the new Diva models have remained the same. The crossover ensures smooth impedance characteristics, high efficiency, low distortion and proper sound dispersion. As a result, the Tesi 6 loudspeaker can cooperate with practically any amplifier.
