INDIANA LINE TESI 3
Representing the latest iteration of the Tesi series, the Tesi 3 bookshelf model not only presents itself well, but also delivers an attractive, balanced, clear and dynamic sound - unmatched in its price class. The new models of the Tesi line boast innovative technical solutions that include components approved in the latest flagship models of the Diva series, while maintaining a simple and universal design. The Tesi 3 model is available in three color options - black oak, white and mocha, so it blends seamlessly into the decor of any interior.
Reinforced body, UNIVERSAL STYLE
The Tesi 3 model has an internally reinforced MDF body. Compared to the Tesi 261 model, the dimensions have changed slightly - it is shorter by about 2 cm and the depth is 1 cm less. A forward-facing bass reflex port facilitates room placement and delivers dynamic lows. The midrange driver basket has a trim ring that adds to the speaker's aesthetic appeal. In addition, the Tesi 3 model has a magnetic grill and, like other models in the new generation Tesi series, features gently rounded corners that emphasize the universal design of the speaker.
TWEETER WITH NEW FRONT PANEL
The Indiana Line Tesi 3 - similar to its predecessor - has a 26 millimeter tweeter with a special Indiana Line feature: a radial ventilation chamber and a powerful neodymium magnet. However, there is a noticeable change in the front design of the tweeter. The Tesi 3 model has a rectangular shape reminiscent of the latest designs of Indiana Line's flagship Diva series, but made with a simplified mounting technique. This original approach ensures that the tweeter visually complements the midrange much more smoothly, while elevating the aesthetic qualities of the Tesi 3 model.
IMPROVED woofer/midrange speaker
The midrange speaker has been optimized using modern design techniques. It has a 16 cm membrane that is very strong, made from a mixture of mica and polypropylene. The main elements of the mid-range speaker are an inductance rectification ring and a larger magnet compared to the Tesi 261 model. In addition, the original phase plug in the Tesi 3 has been replaced with a dust cap in the new Tesi 3. These components contribute to the low distortion level and further increase the linearity and bass processing - the bass is crisp and deep. As a result, the sound is more detailed and clear, especially when playing at higher volumes.
DUAL-WAVE – INNOVATIVE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
The Tesi 3 model's low-midrange speaker features an innovative Dual-Wave suspension that debuts in the higher-end Indiana Line Diva series models. The Dual-Wave suspension is visually reminiscent of the accordion-like springs found in stage speakers. Carefully designed to increase the linear operating range of the electroacoustic transducer and reduce intermodulation distortion, with a special focus on low frequencies, this suspension system has a significant effect on improving sound clarity in the mid-range of the acoustic spectrum. This is especially evident when listening to recordings with acoustic, string and percussion instruments.
IMPROVED SPEAKER CROSSOVER DESIGN
Tesi 3 boasts a carefully optimized speaker crossover, created using modern design techniques and specialized measurement systems. The topology of the crossover and the quality of its components are based on the solutions implemented in the Diva series models. As a result, a smooth impedance characteristic, high efficiency, low distortion level and optimal off-axis sound dispersion were achieved. Thanks to these improvements, the Tesi 3 works seamlessly with any amplifier or AV receiver.
