The DLA-NX9 is the world's first (as of September 9, 2018) 8K/e-shift home theater projector to feature a new 0.69-inch internal 4K D-ILA unit with a new external design. 8K / e-shift technology together with a 100 mm diameter glass lens achieves 8K equivalent resolution (8192 x 4320).

The unique Multiple Pixel Control technology can convert FHD and 4K images to high definition 8K images. In addition, the latest firmware version v3.0 includes the Frame Adapt HDR function, which analyzes HDR10 content frame by frame and automatically makes adjustments to produce an optimal image. Combining 2,200lm brightness, 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 18-bit equivalent gamma accuracy for smooth gradation, the projector faithfully reproduces the closer-to-life images we perceive with our eyes. In addition, the updated Clear Motion Drive combined with Motion Enhance significantly reduces motion blur.
