The Transrotor Dark Star Silver Shadow turntable is identical to the Reference model, but the upper elements are made of polished aluminum.
The basic price includes a drive with aluminum support weight and the Tonearbasis Jelco or SME, but not tonearm and pickup; Consequently, there are no limits to the design (configuration).

Transrotor recommends the SME M2 9'' tone arm as a component with the MC Merlo pickup.
