Today, a home theater system is available to many. The choice of options is wide: from a well-tuned stereo system with a TV to a full-fledged home theater system with a UHD video projector and Dolby Atmos sound system. Let's try to choose.
Option one. Minimal system.
If your apartment is not big and you are not going to do any renovations, but you have a good TV and like to watch movies, you will definitely want quality sound, and at the same time you do not want to ruin it, tripping over the speaker wires stretched for the side and rear speakers. But in this case, there is a solution. We advise you not to look at the cheap "box" solutions that are filling up all the home appliance stores. It is disappointing that such solutions are created for purely commercial purposes. Yes, you will "get" a DVD or even a Blu Ray player in the kit. And also five, or even seven speakers with a subwoofer. This entire "wonderful" set will be "dressed" in a cheap plastic "clothes" and completed with budget speakers and the most discounted electronics "stuffing". Believe our experience, you really do not need such a "system". Most often, such systems, in their owner's apartment, ends quite sadly: all five, or even seven "nests" are lined up next to the TV, the subwoofer is gathering dust behind the cabinet, and the owner, having spent the money, does not experience the slightest pleasure. Do you want to get solid sound for a small amount of money and without any hassle? Choose Soundbar or sound projector, as it is sometimes called by specialists. In this case, you will get the illusion of large-scale sound (although this illusion will be much better than a "box" cinema system). You will not have to think about how to run wires for effect speakers (there are simply no such speakers in this system), and if you wish, you will be able to choose Soundbar with a wireless subwoofer (which also won't cause any wiring worries).
The soundbar speaker can be mounted on the wall below the TV, or it can be placed on a cabinet or shelf. When choosing a soundbar with a subwoofer, don't make the mistake of placing it in a niche in a cabinet next to the TV. Most often, the subwoofer is placed in the corner of the room. Place it so that there are no direct obstacles between the subwoofer and the subwoofer, then it will work at 100 percent. And this means - it will reproduce rich low frequencies.
Option two: Classic cinema.
With this catchy name, we want to disguise the systems that are usually called 5.1 or 7.1. (depending on the number of sound channels). Such systems use a minimum of 5 speakers (two front speakers, one center speaker, two surround speakers and one subwoofer).
Option three. Full-size home theater system.
A full-size home cinema is a separate room in which, in accordance with all acoustic calculations, comprehensive acoustic preparation has been carried out, including qualified sound insulation of all surfaces, suitable furniture and lighting system have been selected, a noiseless ventilation system has been provided, and a control system for the entire cinema hall has been installed.
