The Grom USB adapter is designed to play music through the original car player. The set-top box reads audio tracks from a USB storage device, a mobile phone with Android software. The adapter connects to the original CD changer socket on the back of the player. Controlled through the original player or steering wheel controls. Playable formats: FLAC, AAC/MP4, OGG, MP3, WAV.

The file system of the USB key or SD memory card must be in FAT/FAT32 format. The internal structure of the catalogs must be: 1-rock, 2-pop, 3-jazz... up to 59 folders, the number depends on the specific tape recorder model. Unlimited number of files uploaded to directories. Grom adapter does not recognize sub folders. Read more in the user manual (.pdf)
Song file names can be whatever your computer allows. However, if the files start with non-standard characters, alphabetical sorting may not work correctly.
