Grom USB adapter is designed to play music through the original car player. The adapter reads audio tracks from USB media, mobile phone with Android software. The adapter connects to the original CD changer slot on the back of the player. Controlled through the original player or via the steering wheel controls. Playable formats: FLAC, AAC/MP4, OGG, MP3, WAV.
Bluetooth and hands-free kit sold separately.

Important: If the adapter switches off after a short period of time, you need to go to an authorized Volvo dealer to have the MOST Security OFF add-on installed. This add-on allows third-party devices to work properly with your factory radio.
Manufacturer: Grom Audio, USA
The file system of the USB key or SD memory card must be in FAT/FAT32 format. The internal directory structure must be: 1-rock, 2-pop, 3-jazz... up to 59 folders, the number depends on the specific radio model. There is no limit to the number of files uploaded to the directories. The Grom adapter does not recognize subfolders. Read more in the user manual (.pdf)
Song file names can be whatever your computer allows. However, if the files start with non-standard characters, alphabetical sorting may not work correctly.
