Although the new Denon DHT-S516 soundbar sound system is indeed similar to the existing HEOS soundbar sound system, the Denon DHT-S516 innovations have some improvements in sound quality and connectivity.
Class D amplifier with exceptional capabilities and high-quality speakers provide a unique home theater experience that conventional built-in TV speakers cannot provide. Additionally, the new Denon DHT-S516 soundbars have built-in the latest HEOS wireless home audio functionality and voice control (requires an additional Amazon Echo or Google Home device).
Subwoofer
The DHT-S516H comes with a subwoofer that is also wireless. The ability to process DSD (2.8, 5.6 MHz), FLAC, WAV, ALAC (192/24), MP3, WMA and AAC (USB/Network) audio formats will ensure that users can enjoy high-resolution audio with ease.
The DHT-S516H allows users to experience the true benefits of a wireless system. The DHT-S516 also enables users to enjoy Apple AirPlay 2. By connecting other HEOS-enabled devices to a common sound system, users can enjoy the same song throughout the home.
