FIBARO smoke detector is extremely light, battery-powered, operating according to the Z-Wave standard, suitable for mounting on the ceiling or wall. It captures the danger of fire with an optical smoke sensor, when the smoke is detected, the built-in alarm siren is activated, the LED indicators flash and the signal is sent wirelessly to the central controller and the security system. In addition, the device is supplemented with a sensor that activates an alarm when a higher temperature limit is detected.

Also, the danger can be detected by the integrated temperature sensor when the set temperature limit is exceeded. The integrated LED can be set to indicate danger, operating mode and status. The supply voltage can be supplied from an external power source or a power supply. The device communicates with the central controller and other devices via radio communication - Z-Wave protocol. The device can be controlled by smart devices and a computer. Communication between the user and the device takes place via Wi-Fi or the Internet through a central controller.

A disproportionately sudden rise in temperature or exceeding the limit of 54°C degrees Celsius activates the alarm - residents are informed not only by sound and light signals emitted by the sensor, but also by an informational message sent to smartphones. Powered by battery cells or a permanent source

If necessary, you can connect the detector to a permanent 12V or 24V power source. Or leave the sensor to work from the internal element, which will allow it to take care of your safety for up to 3 years.

The selectable sensitivity feature helps prevent misleading alarms. In other rooms where the presence of smoke is less likely under normal conditions, the detector should be set to maximum sensitivity to ensure the best protection.

Resistant to high temperatures

The heat-resistant material used in the FIBARO smoke detector housing protects the device from damage even at 200 degrees Celsius.

Self-protection function

The smoke detector is equipped with additional protection that prevents its dismantling. Every attempt to dismantle the detector will activate the alarm, and the smart home system will be immediately informed about it. Z-Wave network coverage measurement

Even if the detector is installed in an area where there is a weak direct connection to the central terminal, it can work by connecting to other Z-Wave devices in the home that rebroadcast network commands, thus expanding the network coverage.

Self control

The Fibar smoke detector not only continuously measures the connection to the overall smart home system, but also continuously performs a self-monitoring test. Every 5 seconds, the detector automatically checks the status of its sensors, and also checks how long the existing power supply will last for further quality work. This test can also be activated manually - you just need to press and hold the central button of the sensor. The detector will inform about a successful test with short sound and light signals.
