Feedback amplifier technology provides wide bandwidth and fast sound reproduction. Combined with a high current power supply, the PM6007 amplifier section has a large power reserve to easily drive even the most demanding speakers. Advanced thermal compensation prevents memory distortion in all circumstances to ensure high-quality operation of the amplifier.

High quality Hi-Res SAK
The PM6007 features a new Hi-Res D/A conversion. It is equipped with a reference-class AK4490 D/A converter that provides up to 192kHz/24-bit resolution for optimal fidelity for your Hi-Res audio file types.

High current power supply
The power supply supports high-current, fast Shottky barrier diodes and high-current storage capacitors fed by a toroidal transformer, which combine to provide a wide dynamic range and low impedance.

Toroidal transformer
| A toroidal transformer has several advantages over a conventional EI core transformer. The highly efficient design delivers more power compared to an EI core transformer of the same size. In addition, the toroidal transformer shape emits low electromagnetic radiation and mechanical vibration for better sound quality. |

Marantz HDAM-SA3 Technology
Marantz have developed their own discrete boards to replace the standard ICs. These HDAMs (Hyperdynamic Amplifier Module) consist of individual surface mount elements with short mirror image L/R signal paths. These devices work in exactly the same way as optical amplifiers, but dramatically outperform these solutions in terms of slew rate and lower noise levels, resulting in a more dynamic, accurate and detailed sound.
In the PM6007, the HDAM-SA3 circuit is improved over the previous module, and the idle current stability is less affected by transistor power temperature to maintain audio efficiency even at high output levels.

Additional digital inputs (2 optical, 1 Coax) with Hi-Res Audio support
One coaxial digital and two optical digital inputs are now available for connecting digital devices and reproducing Hi-Res audio (up to 192 kHz / 24-bit PCM) via the advanced PM6007 audio circuit. The entire digital section is fully shielded with an additional metal enclosure to ensure that the digital stage does not affect the analog signal. |
Digital filter Optical/Coaxial inputs
The CD6007 introduces a new selectable digital filter option. This dual-mode filter (Filter1/Filter2) allows you to optimally reproduce digital music content using the new AK4490 D/A converter according to your taste. Filter 1 is a slow curve roll-off setting that enhances deep stereo bass, while filter 2 is a sharp curve roll-off setting to more accurately reproduce the sense of space. |
Subwoofer output
The PM6007 supports an optional external subwoofer with a fixed low frequency cutoff at 150Hz. Enjoy precise bass without any sonic peaks or troughs, regardless of where you place the woofer.
