The Alpine iLX-W650BT multimedia system features a 7-inch high-definition touchscreen that works well with smartphone connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It's designed to give smartphone users everything they want and need to enjoy phone features while driving. The fast smartphone charging feature ensures your phone's battery is charged quickly, while Bluetooth audio streaming allows everyone in the car to contribute their phones and music to the party on the road.

The installation of the device requires a very small depth of the installation space, only 6 cm, so it can be installed even in vehicles without full DIN size installation spaces.

You can further enhance your iLX-W650BT with the KTA-450 4-channel audio amplifier to increase the sound output by five times. Both units can be mounted together to create a very compact package that fits into a typical 2DIN space. This Power-Stack design won the Best of CES Award 2019.

Simple finger control
Use multi-touch gestures anywhere on the iLX-W650BT receiver's 7" screen to control your music and keep an eye on the road. A two-finger swipe up, down, left or right can be used to control the volume up or down, skip forward or rewind a track. Screen magnification commands allow convenient control of the navigation screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Convenient navigation
Use your smartphone to turn on Apple CarPlay or Android Auto maps and use them on your journey. Use the voice button on the player or your smartphone to get turn-by-turn directions with audio messages. After installing and connecting the front and rear video cameras, you will also be able to use the driving and parking assistant functions.

Apple CarPlay
The ILX-W650BT works with Apple CarPlay and allows iPhone users to make and receive calls, access text messages, play music and get directions in a way that keeps them focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is controlled by the player's touchscreen or microphone button to activate Siri voice control, and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected with an Apple lightning cable).

Android Auto
The ILX-W650BT is compatible with Android Auto and works with Google Assistant (both USB cable and Bluetooth® connection required; Android ™ phone running version 5.0 or higher [Lollipop] or higher with Android Auto program). To access Google Auto Assistant with Android Auto, say "OK Google" or press the microphone button. Google Auto Assistant and Android Auto allow users to play their favorite music, get directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and respond to text messages, all hands-free.
