The main body of the column is made of aluminum, the speakers are covered by a removable plastic grille. The top edge houses the power, volume control, and Bluetooth pairing switches. A short leather strap is removable for carrying the column.

BeoPlay A2 remembers 8 user-paired mobile devices and also allows 2 mobile devices to be paired and used for music streaming at the same time.
