Surface finishes
The surface finishes, "black high gloss" and "walnut high gloss," integrate seamlessly into the existing range with the signature THORENS design. The brand identity is emphasized by high processing quality, ensuring a long lifespan, like all Thorens turntables.

TP 120 tonearm
The newly developed TP 120 tonearm features advanced bearing technology, minimizing bearing play and friction to remarkably low levels for its price range. This is a genuine 9" J-shaped aluminum tonearm with an effective mass of 15 grams. Its visual similarity to larger models, the TP 150 and TP 124, suggests top-tier performance. The tonearm includes a detachable headshell with an SME connector and is fitted with the Audio Technica AT95E cartridge.Skating compensation is handled via a spring mechanism.

Connection terminal
The connection terminal at the rear is equipped with high-quality RCA sockets for a solid connection to the amplifier. Additionally, it has an integrated MM phono preamp, which can be switched on or off, allowing direct connection to a high-level input.

Platter and drive system
The precision-manufactured die-cast aluminum platter is driven by a high-precision drive belt. The TD 204's plinth is supported by four vibration-damping feet, enhancing stability and reducing unwanted vibrations.
