Marantz home theater amplifiers are not only characterized by excellent surround sound, but also music reproduction. The SR7012 combines the latest technologies for an immersive movie experience, using 4K resolution and 3D audio formats and meticulously fine-tuning audio reproduction. Marantz does not believe that a home theater amplifier should sacrifice the quality of music reproduction, so the SR7012 is designed to be a complete High-End home entertainment center. The amplifier has a wide range of music listening options, including wireless ultra-high definition music listening, Bluetooth and Airplay and HEOS wireless multiroom technology.

Powerful 9-channel discrete amplifier, ECO mode

The SR7012 features identical high-current amplifiers on all 9 channels for amazing sound reproduction whether listening to music or watching movies. Each channel has a power of 200W and supports low-impedance speakers, so you can connect practically any favorite speakers to the amplifier. To enjoy 3D sound, you can set the mode to 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 without an additional external amplifier, or expand the format to 7.1.4 with an external 2-channel amplifier using the 11.2 processor. Meanwhile, ECO mode provides energy saving. Depending on the situation, either the maximum power of the amplifier is reduced or a low power strategy is applied, but this does not affect the excellent sound quality of the amplifier.

Latest HDMI formats; HDCP 2.2 support

8 HDMI inputs, one of which is on the front, make the SR7012 an advanced video processing system. HDMI connectors support the latest formats and protocols, such as 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video resolution, 4:4:4 Pure Color, BT.2020, 21:0 video format and HDR. Dolby Vision support is also installed. HLG (hybrid log gamma), a new HDR format, will be available with a software update. The video processor processes and upscales SD resolution footage to 4K Ultra HD. Three HDMI outputs, two of which are used for the main zone (eg TV and projector connection) and the third for the second zone.

Dolby Atmos

Experience three-dimensional sound with Dolby Atmos. With the help of this new audio format, you will be able to connect two additional top channel speakers and feel like you are right in the center of the action.

Advanced Audyssey MultEQ XT32

Equipped with the best Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room calibration system, the SR7012 uses advanced DSP algorithms. With the included microphone, the amplifier "analyzes" and adjusts all speakers, including the bass, in up to 8 different places and applies precise filters to optimize the sound for your room. Audyssey Dynamic Volume smoothes the sound and reduces annoying jumps (such as in TV commercials), so you can enjoy clean dialogue, music and effects, even at low volume levels. Audyssey Low Frequency Containment uses advanced psychoacoustic algorithms to extract full-band balance, deep bass, while not disturbing neighbors or people in other rooms. The Audyssey Sub EQ HT has a digital sound processor for each woofer and allows for deeper bass while improving accuracy compared to a single woofer configuration.

Audyssey MultEQ Editor application

The SR7012 supports the new MultEQ Editor application. Go "under the hood" and adjust the settings down to the smallest detail, thus adapting the sound to your preferences and the acoustic problems of the room.

External control options

The SR7012 has a wide range of options for connecting external devices. These are remote control input and output, flasher input and 12V trigger output. You can also directly connect the amplifier to home automation systems via the RS-232C connection. The SR6012 can also be connected via the network using IP and has an integrated Crestron Connected system for quick and easy connection to the home automation system.

Two subwoofer connections

A single woofer requires precise placement for optimal bass reproduction. Meanwhile, connecting two woofers in different parts of the room distributes the bass more evenly and provides accurate bass reproduction anywhere in the room.

Multi-Source/Multi-room

Whatever you need, the SR7012 provides it. You can enjoy 7.2 surround sound in the main room and at the same time listen to music in stereo mode from another source in another part of the house. Connect additional speakers to the amplifier outputs, or a separate amplifier for the second zone to the Zone 2 pre-out outputs.
