Car USB/SD adapter CTACTUSB002 for Citroen RD4

This device connects to the factory tape recorder via the CD changer connector and works as a virtual CD changer. The USB adapter preserves the full functionality of the tape recorder and its control on the steering wheel (if available) and is controlled like a regular CD changer. What's more, any external audio sources can be connected to the adapter via the AUX input.

Note: If the CD changer was not installed in the car at the factory, then the CD changer connector in the tape recorder must be activated by the representatives of the car manufacturer, using diagnostic equipment DIAG2000 or PP2000. In order for the CD and track number to be visible on the tape player screen, the Display function of the CD changer must be activated.

• The audio signal to the tape recorder is transmitted by wires, thus guaranteeing the quality of the transmitted sound, which is significantly lost when using any FM modulators.
• Tracks are stored in directories CD01, CD02... (up to max. CD10 - depending on the capabilities of the tape recorder) with max. With 99 songs in each, you can choose from up to 900 songs at once!
• The functions of repeating songs (Repeat) and playing in random order (Random) are supported
• After removing the adapter, there is no sign of its presence
• The extension cable of the USB connection is brought to a place convenient for the driver
• The device installation procedure is extremely simple
• The USB adapter is installed in an invisible place, so the factory appearance of the car interior is preserved and the possibility of theft is reduced to a minimum.
• The memory of the last position is saved, so the playback of the recording continues from the point where it was interrupted

IMPORTANT! The file system of the USB key or SD memory card must be in FAT/FAT32 format. The internal directory structure must be: CD01, CD02, CD03... up to max. CD10, depending on the capabilities of the tape recorder/cd changer. Each directory can upload max. 99 songs. File names must consist of only Latin letters (Lithuanian, Russian, German, etc. cannot be used) and numbers. Also, don't use dots in the title, like "feat." or "01.". In this case, use space " ", underscore "_" or minus "-" in the name. All adapter connections must be connected as they belong or as indicated in the instructions. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN THE ADAPTER NOT WORKING OR WORKING PROPERLY!
