Sound insulation of the Violon series is designed to eliminate the squeak caused by touching interior parts and to seal joints and seams. All sound insulations of this series have an adhesive layer. Violon Beta (10 mm) is a sealing, squeak-damping and sound-absorbing material made of strong but flexible 10 mm thick porous polyurethane with an adhesive layer. Polyurethane is treated with special bituminous impregnation, which protects against moisture, UV rays and improves the acoustic sound insulation parameters. The operating temperature range of sound insulation Violon is from -45oC to +100oC.
Why should you try soundproofing materials?
Extraneous sounds and vibrations are felt while driving the car. This noise is not only unpleasant, but can also cause serious health problems. Sound insulation materials help to solve this. They ensure additional comfort during the trip. Less vibration is felt while driving, there are no squeaks caused by parts touching each other, and no extraneous noise from the street or the engine compartment. Talking in the car becomes easier, less tiring, nothing distracts attention while driving. Since these materials also act as a heat insulator, it is easier to start the engine in winter, and the interior freezes less. Almost the entire body of the car can be lined with insulating materials, thus ensuring the greatest effect.
Recommended use: for the roof.
It is also suitable for use: between plastic parts of the car or between plastic and metal, for gluing the surfaces of car ducts, for gluing cable harnesses.
