Indiana Line Diva 7 is a 2-way center speaker model adapted to the Diva line, which, together with other speakers in this series, allows you to create a high-quality home theater system. Although the model is compact, it surprises with its sound capabilities, especially the dynamics of low frequencies.
DESCRIPTION
Stylish enclosure
The Diva 7 column has a two-part enclosure made of MDF board. The front part consists of a lacquered panel, which is 18 mm thick and helps prevent unwanted resonances, significantly improving sound clarity. The attractive design of the Diva 7 model is emphasized by the magnetically mounted, acoustically transparent grille.
Low-midrange transducers with Curv membrane
In the Diva 7 column, both low-midrange transducers feature membranes made of Curv material (polypropylene composite). Its use ensures neutral and precise processing of low tones. Compared to older generation Diva columns, the Diva 7 model also features improved speaker baskets. They have smoother ribbing, reducing air resistance behind the membrane and minimizing unwanted resonances. The baskets have been specifically designed to work well with the Dual-Wave suspension. This ensures that the entire component not only functions properly but also looks attractive.
Proprietary upper suspension design
The low-midrange transducers use the Dual-Wave upper suspension. This precisely designed rubber surround prevents resonance of the suspension-membrane system during midrange playback and expands the linear operating range of the speaker. It also reduces distortions, especially in the low bass registers, and improves articulation of the midrange. This has a particularly positive impact on the sound of percussion, string, and acoustic instruments. The visually pleasing external appearance of the Dual-Wave transducers is reminiscent of professional stage constructions with so-called accordion suspensions.
High-frequency transducer
The Indiana Line Diva 7 features a centrally located tweeter with a diameter of 26 mm, equipped with a radial damping chamber and a powerful, dual-ferrite magnet. The high-frequency transducer has a rectangular, precisely profiled faceplate, characteristic of other models in the Diva series. It is cast from aluminum and has a rubber waveguide - surface, contributing to widening the soundstage and better filling the room with high frequencies. It visually complements the symmetrically placed low-midrange transducers on either side.
Optimized crossover
The Diva 7 has a newly designed and optimized crossover that allows this model to work with practically any amplifier. The circuit topology, the number of components used, and their parameters have been precisely selected based on hours of listening tests. As a result, the frequency response is balanced. Refined filtering along with appropriately chosen characteristics of individual electroacoustic transducers ensure balanced frequency response and low distortion levels. This results in deep and incredibly natural sound.
Bass-reflex enclosure with rear port
The Diva 7 features a bass reflex enclosure with a port located at the rear of the column. This setup handles a wide frequency range with unrestricted dynamics and proper extension in the low-frequency range. Combined with Curv membranes and Dual-Wave suspension, this solution guarantees a clear midrange and delivers open and clear high tones from the tweeter.
