INDIANA LINE TESI 2
The Tesi 2 is the smallest loudspeaker among all those introduced in the new iteration of Indiana Line's Tesi series. Despite its compact size, it works well in any sound system, producing attractive, balanced and dynamic sound. Like other models in the Tesi line, Tesi 2 features innovative technical solutions and components directly borrowed from the acclaimed Diva series. The Indiana Line Tesi 2 is available in three colors - black oak, white and mocha.
UNIVERSAL, SIMPLE FORM
The Tesi 2 model has a correspondingly reinforced MDF body, while maintaining a simple and versatile shape. The dimensions of the speaker, compared to its predecessor, remain unchanged. A bass reflex port on the back of the speaker, like the Tesi 241, allows you to emphasize the low frequency reproduction (by placing it closer to the wall) if necessary. A new addition is a trim ring that covers the midrange driver's basket. The Tesi 2 also has a magnetically attached grille. The overall design is complemented by the gently rounded upper edges of the housing, emphasizing the universal appearance of the speaker.
NEW FRONT PLATE FOR TREBLE SPEAKER
The Tesi 2 tweeter has a diameter of 26 mm, a radial damping chamber and a powerful neodymium magnet. Compared to the Tesi 241 model, the front shape of the tweeter has been modified. Instead of being round, it's now rectangular, reminiscent of the top-of-the-line designs in the Indiana Line brand's Diva line. However, the front of the Tesi 2 speaker has been done with a simpler, fully flush-mounted technique that ensures proper dispersion of the sopranos. The customized front design enhances the visual harmony between the tweeter and the lower-mounted mid-range speaker, while elevating the aesthetic qualities of the Tesi 2 model.
IMPROVED woofer/midrange speaker
The two-way system uses a low-midrange speaker with a 12 cm diameter polypropylene-mica composite membrane. The midrange driver has been optimized using modern design techniques and has a larger and stronger magnet compared to the Tesi 241 used. One of the main components of the low midrange transducer is the inductance linear ring. In addition, the dust cover on the membrane deserves attention, replacing the phase corrector known from the Tesi 241 model and other designs of the previous generation of the Tesi series. The components used help to achieve a low level of distortion and improve the dynamics of the low frequency range. As a result, the bass is clear and deep, and the sound is articulate and richer in detail, even at high volumes. This can be quite surprising given the speaker's compact dimensions.
DUAL-WAVE SUSPENSION
The Tesi 2 model's mid-range speaker features an innovative Dual-Wave suspension, visually reminiscent of stage speakers with accordion-like suspensions. This solution is presented in the new generation Diva series. The dual-wave suspension was designed to extend the linear operating range of the low-midrange converter and reduce intermodulation distortion, especially in the low registers. This improvement also improves the clarity of the midrange frequencies, which is especially noticeable when reproducing the sounds of percussion, acoustic and string instruments.
IMPROVED CROSSOVER DESIGN
The speaker cross stand installed in the Tesi 2 column has been improved compared to the one used in the Tesi 241 model. It has been optimized using modern design methods and specialized measurement systems. The topology of the crossover is inspired by the solutions already known in the new models belonging to the Diva line of the Indiana Line brand. Designers have maintained the same quality of components, ensuring a smooth impedance characteristic, high efficiency, low distortion level and effective sound dispersion. These features allow the compact Tesi 2 to work seamlessly with almost any amplifier, including a stereo mini system.
