The Monitor Audio C3L-CP is a large, three-way in-ceiling speaker from the Creator Series line. The “CP” stands for “Controlled Performance,” as the Monitor Audio C3L-CP features a fully enclosed back box that enhances mid- and low-frequency reproduction and ensures consistent sound quality regardless of wall construction. This design also reduces sound leakage into other rooms and floors by about 30 dB.

This large Tier 3 in-ceiling loudspeaker is a three-way model featuring an RDT III bass driver, IDC II midrange driver and IDC II tweeter with UD Waveguide II. Its fully sealed back box delivers consistently high performance, no matter where it is used. It has a cut out dimension of 248 mm and revolutionary patented Quik-Link speaker cable connector and Tri-Grip II for quick, simple, reliable and strong installation and fitting.

This high-performance, large Tier 3 in-ceiling loudspeaker is designed to deliver pristine, engaging acoustics where pristine sound quality is desired. It is a three-way model featuring the very latest acoustic technologies from Monitor Audio.

This really is the last word in installed performance, featuring an RDT III bass driver, IDC II midrange driver and IDC II tweeter with UD Waveguide II. This combination ensures levels of acoustic transparency and detail found in Monitor Audio's premium loudspeaker ranges, where much of its acoustic technology was developed.

As a Controlled Performance (CP) model, it is fitted with a fully sealed back box that provides an ideal air load for the drivers, optimizing mid-range and bass performance while maintaining sonic consistency regardless of interior wall construction. These rigid, mineral filled enclosures reduce the sound from the back of the cabinet by around 30 dB. This range guarantees excellent audio quality and versatility, for a superior level of sound isolation between rooms and floors.

It has a cut out diameter of 248 mm and uses the patented Quik-Link speaker cable connecter, which revolutionises the ease and speed of speaker installation. Tri-Grip has also been developed for simple, reliable and strong fitment.

Optional square grille can be used with this model.
