The goal was to set a new standard for high-end sound and music reproduction. Engineers used cutting-edge technology to determine the best and most accurate amplifier shape. Finally, for visual work, the amplifiers were immersed in acid baths and then in an electrolyte fluid using black ink. A current is passed through the amplifier case and thus the amplifier case is painted black. This technology is used to obtain the best and most accurate color.
