Parking assistant with laser protection KIYO Ultimate Advanced Protection 4 sensor

KIYO Ultimate is a multi-functional laser system that performs several functions that will definitely help you as a driver. First of all, KIYO Ultimate is a laser parking sensor. At the same time, it is a modern laser jammer.

KIYO Ultimate is a laser detector designed and manufactured in Hungary, especially for the European market. With its laser sensors (hidden in the license plate frame of the car), it can detect most European LIDAR devices.
Hidden laser sensors can detect signals from mobile LIDAR cameras. If an attempt is made to measure the car's speed with a laser, the system warns the driver with flashing LED lights and audible signals, giving a few seconds to calmly adjust the speed. After adjusting the speed, the device must be switched off to take a speed measurement.

What happens during blocking?

The laser meter emits a laser beam of a certain frequency in the direction of the car during speed measurement, not necessarily the same as that emitted by the KIYO Ultimate parking sensor. KIYO Ultimate software can distinguish each individual speedometer based on the frequency they emit. After doing so, the device sends a command to the laser diode, which instantly sends the same beam back in the direction of the speedometer. 
If the laser meter receives pulses from the KIYO Ultimate that are the same as its own pulses, it cannot distinguish its own pulses from the KIYO Ultimate, so it cannot capture the speed because it receives false distance information. Since it is exactly the same pulse, the laser meter cannot tell that the car is equipped with KIYO Ultimate.

Activation of laser protection

Laser protection functions are activated only after inserting a unique USB key into the slot. Without the USB key, only the parking function works - the driver himself chooses in which countries to use the laser protection functions. Parking assistant, laser detector, active and passive modes:

KIYO Ultimate has three different modes that can be changed. In the second position, the device works as an active laser detector (which means it can block the laser signal), in the first position it works only as a parking assistant and does not block laser signals. In position 0, the device is switched off. With the hidden panic button, the device can be turned off at any time, but it will still work as a parking assistant.

The official parking assistant

The device has the "E7" marking approved by the Hungarian National Transport Authority. This means that the device can be installed and used as a parking aid in any European country. In order to avoid "unpleasant surprises", the kit includes free e7 cards confirming this.
