The legendary 15-inch Dual has been extensively upgraded for the Gold Reference series, with many of the improvements featuring trickle-down technology from TANNOY's flagship Kingdom Royal development project. The low-frequency GR driver section features a new fiber-enriched paper pulp cone material to further improve the mechanical characteristics of the cone. The cone is finished with a double roll of impregnated fabric to improve damping properties. The Canterbury GR HF unit represents a significant leap forward in technology and performance with a new aluminum-magnesium alloy compression diaphragm that has been heat treated to further improve mechanical integrity under HF loads. The use of new Mylar surround materials provides better damping and cooling, resulting in exceptional clarity and articulation throughout the HF range. Able to listen at high volumes without fatigue, the Gold Reference Dual gives the TANNOY Canterbury speaker even more naturalness and clarity.
