DESCRIPTION
Playback of a point sound source
In order to create accurate and surround sound, the Technics uses a coaxial speaker configuration in which the tweeters and mid-range speakers are aligned to reproduce the sound as close as possible to a point sound source. This allows for a wider, more natural soundstage, regardless of the listener's location.
Line phase plug
This innovation is designed to reduce distortion and increase sound clarity. The plug at the front of the tweeter diaphragm is made of brass, a material that effectively dampens vibrations. This allows for greater clarity and less sound distortion.
Smooth flow diaphragm
The midrange diaphragm in the coaxial speaker unit is designed to reduce sound reflections. This allows for extremely accurate frequency responses and improves phase characteristics and directivity, ensuring rich and natural reproduction of mid and high frequencies.
Stationary design and balanced drive mounting architecture
This speaker design is designed to reduce unwanted vibration and noise by using optimized vents and separating the coaxial speaker baffle from the woofer. These technologies increase the stiffness of the cabinet and provide greater response and clearer sound, especially in the bass range.
Standing wave elimination design
To eliminate resonance caused by standing waves inside the speaker cabinet, Technics developed a unique sound channel design. This technology reduces the effect of standing waves with minimal sound absorption, thus maintaining maximum dynamism and clarity.
These advanced technologies allow the Technics SB-G90M2 speakers to provide impeccable sound quality, reproducing spatial, clear and rich sound with minimal distortion.
