The amplifier produces 180W of power per channel, filling even large rooms with sound, and Audyssey MultEQ XT perfectly adjusts the system according to the acoustic characteristics of the room.

The video playback part has 8 HDMI inputs with full 4K Ultra HD resolution support, including 60Hz playback, 4:4:4 Pure Color, BT.2020, HDR and Dolby Vision. Also, the amplifier is compatible with HDCP 2.2., for playback of copy-protected 4K recordings. HLG (hybrid log gamma) skip for future HDR recordings will be available with a software update.

Built-in HEOS multiroom wireless system support allows you to connect the SR5012 amplifier to your existing HEOS system and enjoy your favorite music throughout the home. Listen to countless online sources or directly from your phone/computer wirelessly and control everything with the help of one application.

Powerful 7-channel discrete amplifier, ECO mode

The SR5012 amplifier circuit consists of separate high-current devices for exceptionally good sound reproduction for both music and movies. Each channel of the amplifier has the same power of 180W. You can also connect low impedance 4 ohm speakers. Meanwhile, ECO mode saves electricity without sacrificing sound quality.

The latest HDMI connections, HDR, Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDCP 2.2

8 HDMI inputs, one of which is on the front, make the SR5012 an advanced video processing system. HDMI connectors support the latest formats and protocols, such as 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video resolution, 4:4:4 Pure Color, BT.2020 and HDR. Dolby Vision support is also installed. HLG (hybrid log gamma), a new HDR format, will be available with a software update.
The video processor processes and upscales SD resolution footage to 4K Ultra HD.

Dolby Atmos

DTS:X

Hi-Res Audio

The SR5012 will give you the opportunity to discover the quality of high-resolution music recordings. You can listen to such recordings via the USB connection on the front or from devices on the network. The receiver supports formats such as ALAC, FLAC and WAV. Also DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz files.

Advanced 32-bit D/A converter

Advanced Audyssey MultEQ XT32

Audyssey's MultEQ XT automatic sound calibration system adjusts the speakers according to the acoustics of the room, resulting in natural and smooth sound reproduction. MultEQ XT has better filters and 8 times higher resolution compared to the regular MultEQ system.
Audyssey Dynamic EQ uses advanced psychoacoustic algorithms to continuously adjust the tonal balance and deliver full-resolution sound, even at low volume levels, while Dynamic Volume evens out annoying audio spikes, especially felt in commercials.

Audyssey MultEQ Editor application

The SR5012 supports the new MultEQ Editor application. Go "under the hood" and adjust the settings down to the smallest detail, thus adapting the sound to your preferences and the acoustic problems of the room.

The SR5012 has a wide range of options for connecting external devices. It has remote input and output, 12V output, and RS-232C connection is used for direct connection to smart home systems.

Two subwoofer connections

A single woofer requires precise placement for optimal bass reproduction. Meanwhile, connecting two woofers in different parts of the room distributes the bass more evenly and provides accurate bass reproduction anywhere in the room.

Multi-Source/Multi-room

Whatever you need, the SR5012 provides it. You can enjoy 5.2 surround sound in the main room and at the same time listen to music in stereo mode from another source in another part of the house. Connect additional speakers to the amplifier outputs, or a separate amplifier for the second zone to the Zone 2 pre-out outputs.
