DESCRIPTION
Onkyo TX-8250 has a metal case with a resonance-absorbing base plate that ensures reliable protection of electronic circuits against electrical disturbances and mechanical vibrations. The receiver is equipped with 2x140W (6 ohm load, 1 kHz, 1% THD, 2 channels loaded) amplifiers with discrete elements. The proprietary amplifier technology WRAT (WIDE RANGE AMPLIFIER TECHNOLOGY) allows you to reproduce high-resolution audio recordings while preserving studio sound quality. Acoustic speakers are connected using 4 pairs of threaded connectors, which allows you to use the scheme "Bi-Wiring" or to sound the second room. The device's power supply unit has a higher power shielded transformer and two 8200 mkF filter capacitors.
The stereo receiver connects to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi (plays Spotify, TuneIn, radiko.jp/radiko.jp premium streams), and built-in AirPlay and Bluetooth technologies ensure direct wireless connection to mobile devices. This stereo receiver also has 2 coaxial and optical inputs each, 6 pairs of linear inputs, and a USB socket for connecting data storage devices is installed in the front part of the case. A new 32-bit/384 kHz digital-to-analog converter AKM4452 is integrated, 24-bit/192 kHz PCM recordings and up to 5.6 MHz DSD files, FLAC, WAV, Apple Lossless compressed files are played from the network. In addition, the receiver is equipped with a MM vinyl record player phono equalizer. A subwoofer can be connected to the TX-8250 to boost bass. There are also line and headphone outputs. With future software updates, the Onkyo TX-8250 will open the door even wider to the world of wireless technology. It will be possible to use the Chromecast system and play Internet content without a cable, the DTS Play-Fi protocol will allow streaming music to the receiver, wireless speakers and other devices through the app. With the purchase of the new Onkyo network receiver, it is possible to create a "multiroom" system, because the wireless technology "FireConnect" helps to reproduce the sound from all devices connected to this receiver in another room using wireless speakers and a smartphone. The proprietary software "Onkyo Controller" allows you to connect these speakers in groups and listen to music throughout the house.
435×329×149 mm in size and 8.7 kg in weight, the Onkyo TX-8250 in black or silver is controlled by a remote control or a mobile device and a special Onkyo Remote App. The TX-8250 includes several convenient services, including the ability to select one of four preset broadcast or Internet stations at the push of a button on the front of the cabinet.
The successor to the popular Onkyo TX-8150 model, the TX-8250 adds several features, including the ability to use the receiver as part of a multiroom system with an additional speaker. The Onkyo TX-8250 network receiver presented at the IFA 2017 exhibition in Berlin can become a comprehensive center of a modern sound system, with the brand's innovative technologies installed in it.
